Honey Competition
Wednesday 24 September at 8.00 pm. BeeKeepers Bash Celebration Dinner. Moyra Davidson will be our Honey Judge this year. To encourage members to enter products North London Beekeepers are holding a Celebration Dinner to follow the competition. Bring your family to cheer if you win a prize and a bottle of your favourite beverages to drown your sorrows if you dont. Prizes for the Honey Show will be presented by Moyra at the dinner. Sunday 1st February 2004 at 3.00 pm. "Bee research at the Laboratory of Apiculture & Social Insects" by Dr. Francis L. W. Ratnieks, Professor of Apiculture, Laboratory of Apiculture , University of Sheffield. The Laboratory of Apiculture & Social Insects is the largest bee and social insect research group in the country and investigates a wide range of topics in bee behaviour by doing research as far afield as South Africa, Thailand, Australia, Mexico and Brazil.
