A discussion and short presentation on Integrated Pest Management Discussion (IPM)

An opportunity to discuss the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) with other NLB members. During the evening you will be able to plan and revise your own IPM for this season and to discuss different treatments and management methods.

IPM can be easily applied to control many bee pests, in particular varroa. IPM is used widely by beekeepers and agriculturalists where it is desirable to keep chemical use to a minimum and to reduce pests to below levels where they cause significant harm.
