A Junior Member is aged is between 10 and 18 years and only handles bees under the supervision of their parent or guardian who is a Full Beekeeping Member. They become a member of the British Beekeepers Association and receive the BBKA News magazine but do not have BDI as it is assumed that they’ll be working with an adult with BDI. They have no right to vote at General Meetings and are not eligible to attend classes.
