This option is for new membership to NLB. If you have been an NLB member in the past 5 years, please use the renew membership option instead.

A Full Member is an active adult beekeeper (aged over 18 years). A Full Member has affiliation to the Federation of Middlesex Beekeepers and the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA) including a subscription to the monthly magazine and third party insurance cover and Bee Disease Insurance (BDI) for 3 colonies. A full member has voting rights at general meetings.

If you would like to move your full membership to NLB from another beekeeping organisation, please get in touch to discuss transferring your BKKA record including any exam history.

Please note: When purchasing membership after 31st March, BDI insurance cover will not commence until 40 days have elapsed since your purchase of NLB membership. Details can be found in the BDI FAQ here.
